Broadcasting System of Niigata Inc. (BSN), headquartered in Niigata City and led by President Yoshihisa Shimada, is pleased to announce that its documentary program,"On Stage" will be distributed worldwide, excluding Japan. This marks the first international distribution for a program produced by BSN, and it will be made available through Ganjingworld, a U.S.-based digital content platform.

First aired in December 2022, "On Stage" is an award-winning documentary that secured a Gold Award at the 2024 World Media Festival in Germany. The program deeply explores the value of art in local cities through the groundbreaking collaboration between Niigata City's resident public theater dance company, "Noism Company Niigata" and Sado City's taiko performing arts ensemble, "Kodo".

Ganjingworld, a subscription-based platform with a significant global follower base, is expected to bring this program to a broad viewership.
